KuCoin exchange reported that at least half of the adults in Turkey are crypto investors. According to the results of their survey, there is a growing trend of crypto investment in Turkish adults. According to KuCoin, Turkish adults aged between 18 to 60 who invested in crypto rose 12% in the last 18 months, from 40% to 52%.
KuCoin believes the rise in the number of crypto investors is related to the rising interest rates in Turkey and the growing acceptance of crypto to fight inflation. More Turkish adults are reportedly choosing cryptocurrency over their country’s currency, the Lira, which has recently lost more than 50% of its value due to inflation.
