The world’s largest Ethereum-based online crypto casino Stake.com halted withdrawals on September 4, 2023 after a reported $40 Million USD hack.
This was first reported by Cyvers Alerts, a real-time security company that tracked several suspicious transfer activities from Stake.com’s Ethereum wallet to an unknown address.
Through their account on X, Cyvers Alerts said:
“ALERT Our AI-powered system has detected multiple suspicious transactions with Stake https://etherscan.io/address0x3130662aece32f05753d00a7b95c0444150bcd3c address received about $16M in ETH USDC USDT and DAI All the stablecoins are converted to ETH and distributed to different EOAs (externally owned accounts).”
But a few hours later, through X Stake.com said that all user funds had been secured. Their BTC, LTC, XRP, EOS, TRX, and other wallets are fully operational again. Their quick response also received a lot of praise from their users.
